Beach Luau

We had a great time at our last class party today!

We tarted our day by reading on the beach. We had ocean waves in the background and enjoyed our last chance to read together.

After some reading, it was time for our annual book auction. I bought each student a book but we did a raffle to see who received which book. Every student went home with a book that they are excited to read over summer break!

Then it was time to really PARTY! Kids did the limbo, hula hooped and did a bean bag toss. It was tough to get pictures because the room was super busy!

The food was a hit! We had crabwiches, beach balls, fruit kabobs, flip flop cookies and Hawaiian punch! Thank you so much for all of the delicious fruit! The kids loved making their own kabobs!

Now days, it just isn't a party if you don't have a photo booth. I promised the kids that I would share these pics that they took!

Thanks so much to  all the parents that came in to volunteer today!

Water Day

Students who read for 100 or more hours were invented to celebrate! It was a day filled with water, fun and good friends. Thanks so much to Mrs. Gepson and Mrs. Coleman for volunteering! We had a blast.

I absolutely adore these kids and their huge smiles!
